Original U.S. Army 3 Color Desert BDU Trousers – Dated 1990 and 1991

Although these examples were made in 1991, they were not standard issue for operation Desert Storm. This pattern saw more recognizable use later on, including during Operation Gothic Serpent and especially during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

These are heavily used surplus trousers and should be expected to show obvious service wear. In most cases this includes damage, repairs, holes, stains, fading, loose threads, and general hard use. Most will be ink stamped upon their retirement from service. They are being sold as worn original military surplus rather than clean collector-grade examples.

Approximate size guide

These trousers are marked using standard U.S. military sizing, combining a waist size with a length such as Short, Regular, or Long. As a rough guide:

Length guide

  • Short – approx. 26.5–29.5” inseam / suits approx. 5’6”–5’8”
  • Regular – approx. 29.5–32.5” inseam / suits approx. 5’9”–5’11”
